Passover, the “holiday of freedom”, is  also the “holiday of Spring” in the Torah – and  is “the Spring of the entire world”  in the words of Rav Avraham Yitschak HaCohen Hook, Israel’s first chief rabbi and founder of Merkaz HaRav Yeshiva in Jerusalem.
