When the nine Lubavitch Yeshiva students arrived in war-torn Europe from Montreal, Canada, many were reticent about their desire to open a yeshiva. Then there was Rabbi Yochonon Twersky, known as the Tolner Rebbe, who welcomed them warmly and told them he would be there for anything they needed: “My home is yours!”
